Dr. Charles J. King, DDS
Dr. Charles King is a dentist who was born and raised in Willow Street and has become highly respected among the local community.
A graduate of Penn Manor High School, he enlisted in the US Navy. He’s a Vietnam Veteran and served aboard the historic Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Coral Sea.
While serving in the Navy, he was trained as a dental laboratory technician and continued to build his dental skills as a civilian lab technician after four years of service to the country. But he was just getting started.
While continuing to work in a dental lab, Dr. King enrolled at Temple University and graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He continued his studies at Temple University School of Dentistry and upon graduation, was inducted into Omicrom Kappa Upsilon, which is the Honor Society Fraternity of the dental profession.
Dr. King returned to the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer for an additional three and a half years. Upon discharge, he taught at the Temple University Dental School as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Removable Prosthetics.
Meanwhile, Home was calling. While still teaching, he opened his dental practice in Willow Street, where he’s been caring for Southern Lancaster County families since 1983.
Over the years, Dr. King has built a reputation of professionalism and care for families of all ages. He’s been a leading dentist in Willow Street for General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and the very best in Dentures.
Dr. King resides in Willow Street with his wife Wanda. They have two adult children, Andrew and Jill.
